Conservatories, sometimes called sunrooms, create a lovely addition to the rear or side of your home, offering a wonderful way to flood your property with natural light throughout the year.
A conservatory is a glazed single storey extension constructed on either a dwarf wall or with full height glazing, topped with a glass or polycarbonate roof. Our work encompasses everything from the base and groundworks through to dwarf wall brickwork, frames and glazing, the roof installation, and connecting it all back to your house. We work with all the popular styles including Victorian, Edwardian and lean to designs. We’ll also fit doors and sort out the electrics as needed.
Most conservatories fall under permitted development rights, which means you won’t need planning permission providing it’s at the rear of your property, measures under four metres in height, stays narrower than your home’s width and extends less than 6 metres out (or 8 metres if you have a detached house). We’re happy to talk you through all the exemptions during our free visit.
